The Blakemores and the Kennedys like to get away as much as we can.
When we do, we generally end up enjoying a drop or two during happy hour, then start chatting about this and that. This was one of those occasions … this time at the Strathalbyn Caravan Park.
We chat about Strathalbyn and other van parks near capital cities, we cover gas ‘stuff’ including portable heating and bayonet fittings.
Then Chris asks me to name the best thing about 3 items, a billy, a water filter and wait for it … a dunny.
So sit back, grab a drink, put the feet up and join us for a bit of this and a bit of that!
During our chat we mention van parks close to Adelaide
The Brownhill Creek Tourist Park is one of my favourites and just 7 kms from Adelaide CBD and Beaches. Situated in the Brownhill Creek State Recreation Park and set on 25 Acres, this holiday park is an ideal place to relax and unwind in tranquil surroundings. Or if you fancy the cafe or bistro scene, you’ll find some just a short drive away and there’s some pretty good shopping precincts near by as well. A bush setting in a suburban park … love it.
